New BRM Cloud Bridle Setup - Your Experience?

As the Cloud riders might have noticed, Greg posted a modified bridle setup for the "old" Cloud model (Cloud C1) in 17 m².
I haven´t had the chance to do the modification and respective tests, and it will probably take a few more weeks until I´ll manage to do so (too much wind here in the middle European winter...).

I´d be interested in your experiences with the new setup, so please let´s share
It looks so very different from the original... I´m really curious.

BTW I´d like to thank Greg for his efforts to offer this interesting option to his customers. Really great service

While step 5 reads
Step 5: Tie 2 figure 8 knots in line C at positions shown (mm) loop 3x through kite LE
and attach line H between knots
The photograph illustrating this connection seems to show the line connected to the LE with 2 loops.
Which is correct? Maybe I am not seeing it right but I want to be sure.
Sorry if I'm being dense, thanks to anyone who has done the conversion.
Maybe I will make one if the temperature gets above freezing.

It will be cool to have a kite that weighs a few grams less and has a little more range.
I anticipate it may also help with drift launching, which I do sometimes in light wind.
Occasionally the original bridle's length and sliders add a complication to this.

I'd be remiss if I didn't say I'm less excited about the new prices though...

Well couldn't wait to get home from work today. Too cold to kite (55f degrees)
Reread Gregs instructions and measurements and decided to sew up a new bridle instead of reusing old segments.

one more thing regarding the modified backline pigtail length, as I found this confusing in Greg´s description.
The pigtail length has to be 8 cm only! So the knot NOT 8 cm from end of the existing pigtail (what I understood at first reading), but 8 cm from the kite attachment point of the pigtail. Got this instruction from Greg directly.

The line diagrams with the dimensions make it clear what has to be done. Another line diagram for the rear line would make things clear. And a picture of the triple wrapped loop.

I can see that the reduced bridle weight will make the kite lighter, and if you can make a replacement line for the doubled over line you could save a tiny fraction more.

Wish I had brought my 17 on holiday as it would give me something useful to do in these light winds. Just made a bad guess on conditions.

I can see the philosophy that lighter means the kite will stay in the air longer and accelerate and stop faster. Thinner L/E on the C2 should make it more efficient through the air.
The new brides move the front lines further forward? which makes the sheeting less sensitive and for the same bar; the steering less sensitive too?

Just did the conversion according to the instructions, except I substituted appropriate short pigtails for the long rear line pigtails.
I weighed the parts removed from the kite, it has lost ~180g.
Should be interesting to try.
May make up a dedicated bridle as dlprince69 did above if I am convinced it's better....
