One of my ripped of the water session on the SP2 19m... So will be interesting.
Yep me too i had many ripped sessions on the SP2 19 silverarrow :thumb:
I bet that if Ozone would have made a Chrono 21 people would have bought that size for very LW

So Paul we will wait for your testing side by side Chrono 18 vs SP4 Lotus 18 & 21 on the water
Especially the testing done during the summer heat in a few months for you

Wow, go kiting for the day and loads of comments.

SupaEz making comments on BS claims, nice one fella :P

I never said the vids were in 5 knots. At the time of the vids it was probably between 6 and 8, with the jump being in about 9-10 knots.

I have a vid of me getting up and going in 5 knots which I will upload today.

You have to remember that using a raceboard is cheating as you have the volume and fins to get you up and going. From what I remember Supa, you don't ride a raceboard, therefor you should not comment, really.

I have absolutely no problem saying this is the single best light wind kite I have used, and I owned a 21m Flysurfer speed 3.

Hey Tony that's interesting stuff. I think it's funny how people find it necessary to cling to their belief that kiting is impossible under 8 knots or that an 18 from one brand must have less power than a 21 from another brand.

If you've had a Speed 21 and find an 18 Chrono to be clearly better in ultra light wind, that's pretty useful. Much more useful than someone telling you how the ripples look in the water or it must be blowing 12 knots up at the kite.

Looking forward to more comparisons.

I'd still like to see which kite works when all others do not.

5kn steady wind no puffs video w/15m2 correct? up and going planing...you are 105kg

Me too i have owned SP3 21..rode extensively in LW..at 75kg..Freerace board not raceboard

At your weight you should have got an 18m2
I do not know where you kite...is the water warm and the wind warm

Did you see Ozone wind chart for the 15m2 for a 75kg rider...it is low end 8kn on the water
So at 105kg with a raceboard you wont go below 7kn....it is only a 15...that is a small kite

Here is how it works
I would say it is 9kn and you would say it is 7kn
I would say it is 7kn and you would say it is 5kn
I would say it is 5kn and you would say it is 3kn

I can plane in 5 knots @ 105kg on a raceboard.
I can jump in 6+ knots (on a raceboard)
Tony

 I can understand Tone's enthusiasm with his new small toy :thumb:

But at 105kg with a 15m2 he does exaggerate the low end wind of that kite to get on a plane

Take a peek at Ozone website for water low end of that kite....12kn...the 18m2 is 8kn

For "land and snow" low end of a 15m2 is 6kn and the 18m2 is 5kn

So 5kn on a raceboard should be considered misinformation

Like PMU would say.... it is BS

Ozone have underestimated the low end of the chrono on their site.
B/S is not from Tone, maybe your black and white view on this matter is suspect.
I,ve had the 15m out last week in average 7kn, with a small north nugget, 79kg and once I created apparent wind, was going upwind. Yes is does require more skill to use this kite at the low wind range but when you can dial it in its a extraordinary flying machine. I have owned 3 flysurfers, now fly f-one ozone and anything that is around if I do not have my kites with me.
