hello!

we have a pretty large kite community here in austin. i kite locally at windy point on lake travis often. decent on a s, se, sw, but best on a n, ne.

lake belton is the best by far when the wind is out of the south.

lake buchanon is great on a north

some folks go to lake pflugerville, where the lake is small but butter water out of the south. wind is shit out there though. real punchy with lots of holes.

I'll be out there tomorrow if you're in Austin already, come on out.

I heard Buchanan is where it's at. Did you find your kite bro?

michelle,
lake travis is near my house, hence local. other lakes are further away. I work in dallas mid week.

you seem bored these days.

Dave - When I got over to the other side of the lake in my truck, and got to the water and could not find him, I thought he was sleeping with the fishes.
Was glad when Coleman turned up warm and breathing.
Michel, go see if you can talk Gina into a handy, ..might take your mind off what goes on in Central Texas.

Alright. Glad to see that there is kiting on Austin. I don't think I would move anywhere where I cannot have my passion.
