Maybe OlnB can tell me where he gets his for his Attention Deficit Disorder and broken body pain
I have no idea because I am not obsessed with him to the point that I would jump on posts that I have nothing relevant say, just to harass him.

Case and point. If someone started a thread entitled "Cocoa Beach, Florida??" we would all assume that you would respond to it as it is your area. I know for a fact that Oldnbroken would not respond on that thread because it is not anywhere he is familiar with, and he really does not enjoy the pissing contests with you that occur anytime you two are on the same post. Just something to think about.

Well, progress does not worry me. Sounds like I would be getting way much more sessions in Austin than where I live (Miami). So far this year, I have been out 4 times at most. Wind is been bad since January, and I also work fulltime and go to college, so I wait for the weekends, or during the week I get to ride after work with the daylight saving time ( takes me 45-50mins to get to the beach from work) . Progress would have been better for me if I got to ride more often. This is my second season, and I'm on boots and throwing unhooked. I just take very serious every time I go out and focus on practicing.

Besides the local lakes, you are close enough to Corpus Christi to make an easy day trip there. Laguna Madre is awesome and has wind most of the time.

But he is familiar with me...so he would eventually put his 2 cents

I know you visited here and you are familiar

Here are some nice photos of my town...surrounded by water...surf

We get more good steady breezes here than most Florida locations...(fun place to waveride)
.... because our barrier island town is @ 6 miles from the mainland and on the Atlantic side

Intracoastal Banana River has 3 nice flatwater spots for TT riders..for all the wind directions

If the wind happens to be offshore at the beach...a short 5-10 min. drive gets you to a river spot

No dice old queen, notice I've said nothing to slag the place you've chosen to hang your tiara.
I would never, ever pull the self aggrandizing, antagonistic nonsense you so enjoy stimulating yourself with.
Your reputation is famous for that, mine is not.

Jats - Ignore the silly old fool queen and the spoiled local....Austin is a very nice place to live.
Rated over and over again, a top US city for quality of life.
People are very friendly here, you will find lots of opportunities to socialize with cool people your age.
If you want to polish your freestyle skills, Central Texas has three cable parks that you will have access to.
When you feel like getting a bit sandy and salty, you have the benefit of great kiteboarding in Corpus Christi without having to live in a place like Corpus Christi. Local crew here goes down and rides all day and then hang out around a campfire and sleep on the beach.
You want to see Formula One Racing, they just built a track here and added a cable park.
You want to stay fit, there are groups of people riding road bikes all over town every day.
Nice mountain bike trails in Austin and tons of great mountain biking all over Central Texas.
Several BMX/Skate parks have been built in the last five years.
You want to go rock climbing outdoors on real rock, we've got it.
You want to work out in a gym with huge garage doors open to the outdoors six to eight months of the year, we've got it.
You want leash free hiking with your dog, we've got it.
You want to eat dinner and drink beer and bring your dog with you, we've got it.
You want to paddle kayak and SUP right through downtown Austin, we've got it.
Bottom line is, you can find things wrong with any place if you try hard enough, but there is a reason people are leaving other places to move here, and very few people who live here, want to leave.
Cheers and all the best.

PJ (Splattery Gangbanger) is just griping.
At 22 he is not a kid....he is in his prime to be on his own and select a better place than Austin to kite
PJ not griping but was ripping Austin to shred as an ideal kitesurfing destination

I don't think there is much debate about Austin being an "ideal" kitesurfing destination. This thread has devolved into useless babble. Everybody needs to just move on.

SupaQueen - Jats asked for advise, I would guess it would be welcome from people who actually live here, and not form some old egomaniac living in a retirement community!
People who live here and have lived here in the past, gave him feedback.
Then you stepped in to try to discredit Coleman and put in question his identity.
And then of course to talk about yourself........again.
You are here to engage with me and to draw attention to yourself, for some really strange reason nobody seems to understand, and not to help Jats.
Try to figure out why you have this compulsion, or maybe go get some professional help.

By all means, buy the hoary hype, we could always use more members of the doily cooperative anyway.

FYI: Did you know the anti-doily defamation league has pushed a motion to censure him? Yeah, seriously, he posted inflammatory remarks on doilyforum along with pornographic photos of doilies draped across various phalluses. Real sick shit.

Here's how whack our scene is. We all go to the lake, gear up, but the wind sucks so much we just put on VR headsets and simulate the experience instead:
