Maybe I am just an idiot when it comes to storing the pump hose but they suck and always crack. Is there and upgraded one out there somewhere that will last more than 2 sessions?
Thx

Heres how I stow mine (drill small holes in the top & bottom and zip tie the hose ends).
This way it never kinks on the post and I can sling it...

mine all used to crack as well, I don't think there's a whole lot you can do about it.
i take the hose off now and coil it up inside my bag, this seems to improve the life of it by a lot

Went to the hardware store yesterday; they sell all sorts of flexible tubing on rolls in the plumbing section. I purchased a 3 foot section of hose with an internal diameter of 3/4 inch. Remove the connectors off each end of the crap hose that comes with the pump and press them into the new hose (it's a tight fit). $4 and done

i think your pump hose is not different to the others. maybe you just leave it lie on the sand too much and uv radiation is damaging the plastic? i use my pump hose for the 3rd year and no signs of wear. after pumping my kite i store the pump with the hose in the kite bag

Kink is what kills the hose, I always wrap it around the pump. Also use some dry wax lube that does not attract sand on the shaft, It is on its third year of service.
