lol
The Quikfin will be made with nylon filled plastic
hope that was just a typo.

Wonder how many cycles (either on and off or fin loading) it would take to loosen this system up?

Suggestion

No need to invent an expensive custom made bolt.
Adapt your design to use a standard bolt.
There are many choices easily available for pennies.

Simple, cheap and user friendly is the way to go.
Good luck with your project,
WW

Nobile offers similar fin quick fastening system. don't like it on my T5 and NHP boards. after few sessions fins loosen up again. luckily they provide the traditional screws with each fin set, so no problem anymore.

Thank you for your support. We have backing from some of the highest respected individuals in the Kiteboarding community.

Toby - The latch is designed so a line will not catch and release so to speak.

WindyWay - we would love if there was an industry standard bolt that the head was the same size as the shaft.

NorCal Nomad - StartUps make typos. :D Trust us, we are working with folks that are located in Beaverton, Oregon. They make things that go on your feet. The wording has been changed. The QuikFin will be made with Glass Strand infused nylon.

Thank you Again.

Have you tried printing it with Taulman 618 or 645 and given it a good field study?
