Maybe good to mention the size you are looking at.
Look at The King of the Air event topics for the highest jumpers.

German kiteboarding magazine....
Recently tested all top brands
Same rider, same wind/wave conditions...
#1 Cabrinha Switchblade 2014
#2 North Rebel 2014
Guess what I bought?

Easy !
The best rider, taking the best "moment in time", will jump the highest, thats for sure
I am certain that it is NOT dependant on the kite
Some kites might not be able to jump as high, if too low AR etc, but most will be able to jump the same height, thats for sure

Really? My 2014 SB jumps way less than my Edge or FS. Maybe in the smaller sizes in cooking winds they shine but in under 20 knots no way for me higher aspect higher jumps. Chrono is the leader for me in any winds under 20 knots. I have a 10m SB and 11m edge and the Edge boosts way more for me.
Interesting
Btw selling 2014 14m and 10m SB if interested

I would tend to agree, with PF. I am glad he hesitates a bit with the low AR. There are some other factors that might influence, but I think those are marginal compared to the skill it takes to get there...
We've discussed this at length on this forum. PF et al has thoroughly convinced me.
A big discriminating factor is hangtime...if this is not an issue for you, then the second discriminating factor is how fast you want to achieve peak height. Different kites pulls differently in that respect.

The 2010 Blade Trigger 10M is the highest jumping, longest floating kite I have ever owned in the proper wind. I've tested it side by side with other kites of the same size in the same winds, and very NOTICEABLE difference in height, and float. Not sure why the kite jumps so high, but it just does...likely the foil camber.
However, the kite has horrible depower, and doesn't fly well when depowered. Seems to be made to pull like a truck and nothing else.

Also, one of the Epic kites from 2010 or 2011 (can't remember exactly which one) was also a huge jumper, very close to the Blade. Both are Momi designs.
