Takoon Furia's (every year/generation) turns really fast, with medium to really low bar pressure.
Huge windrange, and excellent for waveriding.
I use the second lightest setting myself, as I like to have a bit pressure left, but still light so I can turn the kite around with one hand.
Regarding why anyone wants "heavy" bar pressure ?
Three reasons at least:
1. As said, you can feel the kite "more" so to speak, thus freestylers prefer this setting, and also good for jumping because you know exactly how "hard" you are sheeting.
2. For beginners, heavy, actually REALLY heavy bar pressure is much easier, as they will learn to sheet the kite more correct, and not over and undersheet all the time. It will balance naturally itself.
3. In really light wind, especially if waves too, you will be able to sheet the kite more correctly even if really experienced - because the light wind itself decreases the pressure/feedback hugely.
In general, the better and more experienced you get, the lighter bar pressure you will be able to handle and sheet correctly (not being said everybody WANTS that though...)
