Hi . Have anybody tested the kite yet? How are the small sizes for kiteloops? Is size 8 good for huge loops?

Hey John,
I tried the Maniacs. If you are looking for a kite loop machine, you are damn right with the maniac. 6.5m, 8m and 9.5m all work for Kiteloops, and they are Killer. The turning radius is pretty big and they fly around very fast, so you get massive pull. With the 9.5m you have to go pretty big if if you want it to catch you, but I had no issues with looping that size. But you can have a influence on the radius by setting up the back lines more to the outside for better turning.
Besides Kiteloops they are also really nice for Freestyle as you may think. The Pop can be very big and explosive if you have the right technique. and as it is a C Kite, you get the perfect amount of momentum and slack. The hooked-in takeoff can be pretty explosive and high in mid- and upper winds, and for a C-Kite you get very decent hang time.
So the Maniac doesn't just look evil, sometimes it even feels nasty^^

I haven't tried one but watched them in the sky. Can anyone comment on whether the flapping and kite movement in the sky translates to the bar? It just looked a little unstable in the air, doing the old jellyfish wobble? Not sure. Just noticed it.??

Dont notice the jelly fish while riding. the kite feel very stable there is a fith line kit coming soon.for all accounts it is a wakestyle kite and does that well.
Might need to try one of mine next time your in sb eppo

Yeh there was a guy down our local on one and I noticed but. But I take ya word for it pedlym.

I would say that jellyfishing is"normal" for 4line C-Kites, If you watch the Fuel, you'll see it has it too. But it doesn't translate to the Bar and the Kite doesn't pull more or less during the "wobbling".
It still feels and really is very stable. If you want you can attach an additional V-line for more Stability by the way, but I like it as it is.

Fuels really don't jelly that much... and given that they are putting out an aftermarket fifth line kit I would say they realize it's an issue too. Pretty skeptical. I'd like to hear an unbiased review.


P.S. Anyone remember the 2008 Yarga? After market 5th line.. great kite haha

I tried maniac 11,5 on snow, kite is extremely stable ang gives you a very consistent pull for a non bridled c kite even in gusty conditions that I never felt that on fuels , torch, razor.kite have a decent bar feedback,depower is good too and I found it decent for wake style.i will say that fuel and torch are better for kite mega loops but maniac is way for friendly and forgiving.power delivery and fly characteristics are similar to flexifoil hadlow pro but with way better relaunch and flys way better in gusty conditions than any non bridled c kite I have tried before
