Hi there
How is that kite for lowish wind freestyle? Is it possible to "bow"relaunch it by pulling af flying line? (I know they say so but is it REALLY possible) And does it go upwind just decently?
In 12-20 knot im into uh freestyle like s-bends, raleys, rolls, to blind and wrapped is my ambition. And a bit of boosting when owerpowered
Weight 90 kg / 200 lbs
tona pop 142 with boots

has about the same power as a 12m bow kite if you're used to that
i am 63 kg, i ride it from about 12 knots, plenty of pop to do anything at 14 knots or so
relaunch is just as good as a bow kite as long as you pump it hard so it doesn't taco.
my top end at 63 kg and a 137x42 influence with boots, is about 20 knots, maybe a bit higher. i am not really unhooking after 17ish knots

Cool. Think I read on the scoop that you are on a 7-9-13 quiver if its the same dylan
Is that 9-13 gap working out for you? Or is there alot af days where you wish you had that 11?

at your weight you'll need a 17 meter kite, the 13 won't be enough around 14 knots

to be honest its almost never 9m weather in FL so i haven't had a ton of opportunities to ride it, but i seem to have plenty of overlap. there's a small gap for when i'm too powered to unhook on the 13, but it's only about a 2 knot range until I can ride the 9m. i'm happy with boosting around or slashing waves in that gap.
11-9 would probably be better, but i think 13-11 is too close together, and we really need the extra 2m² here. so 13-9-7 for me. ideally i'd like to have 11/9/7 and get a turbine or something but then I would have to sell my car

I have 13m Fuel (2009, but I picked it up real cheap for lighter wind freestyle) and team Razors 11/9/7 - tbh I wont be replacing the 11m in my quiver next year. The 11m only works a couple of knots before the 9m. 13 to 9m drop works absolutely fine for me with 138 board. Can't see it'd be much different in a quiver of fuels.
Off topic
The top end of the 9 is pretty good and crosses over the 7m a bit too much and the 7m is a tad full on in our gusty wind at the top of it's range, so 6m VX will be my high wind option next year. lol anyone want an 11/7m 2014 razor quiver?

I really don't know about that, but it depends so much on the person riding it.
I read soooooo many reviews saying not to get the 13m fuel because it has no low end, and to get an RPM or something instead for the big kite. This is complete bullshit, these guys must weigh 300 lbs or have no experience riding a C kite, because my range is almost identical to any 12m bow/delta kite I've ever ridden.
The 9m range is even better, since it's a quick kite you can generate some crazy apparent wind with it, I've managed to hold my ground in like 15 knots on a wakestyle twintip with it. Top end is great too because you can edge it right out of the window to almost no power. The 7m seems to be appropriately sized right below the 9m to me, though it's only been windy enough to ride it once this season so I have no idea what the top end is like.
