up to you bro!

I ride my lines until they snap and then swim in. It's possible your lines are still good they can definitely stretch a few feet and retain their strength. Depends on how cheap you are.

New lines are pretty nice, good feeling not to worry every time you kiteloop.

Try knotting the line at the sleeves instead. It takes up a lot.
not gonna get 30 centimeters difference with a knot at the sleeves, lol.

I never knot my lines. If they are really stretched and I can't fix it with pulling I just put pigtails on the other lines.

I used to do this sort of stuff, but it was hell undoing the knots redoing the knots etc to tune the bar. 2 knots on the left side 1 knot on the other, then a session later you need 1 knot on the left and 2 on the right. Pigtails are way easier if you have to take them off. I splice my own pigtails so I have about 2 dozen of them.

the bar must be at maximum power, with the trim all the way out and the bar pulled all the way in.

For a beginner maybe, but later, you migh want it very different :naughty:

But agree, a correct answer - as you should never measure the front versus back line length at all - you should tune until it fits perfectly regarding kite power and trim :D

Checked it again, this time with the trim all the way out and the bar pulled all the way in. Difference of one or two cm, corrected it right away by stretching the lines. Thanks for the help guys.
