Yes it's the Vision. Quite a step up from phantom 1 in terms of battery life 25 mins vs 7-10mins. ....
If you are worried about stacking it you can get toy quads for $40-80 to practice on first.
Hmmm, how is the used market?
Like kites I'd guess everyone wants to upgrade to the latest model and maybe we can pick up an older Phantom at 40% or less than original cost to learn on. But can we trust it or do they take too much of a beating?

Is there any drone that can float? So if something happens it could still survive...
Maybe adding swimmers? Would at least help if it comes down correctly and not flipped...

Some ping pong balls or hunks of foam attached to the legs. Not too difficult.
The electronics and motors another story but where there's a need and money to be made......

Toby, that would be Really easily accomplished, if the motors were allowed to get wet ; want
the motors to stay dry would cost a bit more because of the water resistant bearings needed.
I'd use spectra fabric because RF goes through it ,(unlike carbon) .
Hardly any added weight, and the devise would go faster if the profile was aerodynamic ; without
running numbers, i'd say at-least 5 to 8%% faster. Hell ---- just adding an aerodynamic profile
to the existing arms, would increase it's top speed by 3 to 5% ; and just doing That could
make it float !!
Bille
In salt water i'd WANT all of the devise encompassed, because salt and electronics
don't mix !!

Bunch of Youtube crashes with nice vids of the fish taken from GoPros still working fine.
VIDEO
Here's a waterproof drone catching a fish.
VIDEO
I can see a powerful drone at kite locations to rescue swimmers and kiters in trouble.
Drone tow ins as well. Maybe Laird is already doing it.

That is some incredible footage, Wayne! Thanks for sharing it.
Still very curious. Don't own one yet....
FWIW, some good suggestions for novices in this CNN story;
How to shoot amazing video from drones

Just got my two quads.
Learning to fly the Nano QX before I move onto the Eye One Xtreme.
Totally a riot.
Easy to see why everybody's pissing poop to get their hands on one.
Lots of muscle memory to load into the bean counter before I'd think about flying something expensive.

That was Bad Ass !!!
Just what i needed, to pump myself up for tomorrows "Adrenaline-Rush" ; gonna
go jump off a 3,500-ft vertical mountain with my Rigid-wing.
Different sport , Same effect : "Make yourself feel
Alive Inside" !!!!!
People Try to get that Same effect with Drugs ; but it just Ain't the same Rush.
Actually, drugs -------- are a bit of a Downer, in comparison .
