Slingshot bar will work fine. The only thing you will need to do is buy some new pigtails to connect the lines to the kite. Naish does their knots/lark heads opposite of most other kite manufacturers.

kites are meant to be flown as designed be the designer, it may feel "softer" on a low V but it may be actually "smoother" as in flown as designed...
Naish designs it's bars for all of it's models, so some Naish kite models may fly better with a slightly different yoke configuration. A tunable bar yoke position would allow us to tune the bar for the particular kite model's best performance

Short Update on the 2016 Naish Pivot:
There are not many changes as the 2015 has been a great seller, but what they have redone:
- Colours
- Adjustable wing tip (3 positions) for a variation of bar pressure
- canope stabilizers
- better strut reinforcement
- new kite bag colour so that
- Enlarged range: 5-14 sqm
- Naish octopus inflation system: All struts internally connected with the leading edge

The Pivot 2016 has only slightly changed. I used It mainly in waves; powerful, stable and maneuverable, even when the lines go slack It is one of the best kite I ever had. After few sessions I made this video:

Tried the Pivot 2016 12m yesterday in Tarifa with aprox 17knots great user friedly kite. Good pop,the kite stays very well in the air. It goes high in the wind window. Personally like kites that go well upwind.Did some freestyle tricks and even when landing under the kite it stays floating. You know where it is and with no efort just loopit in whatever direction you want to go. Highly recomended for strapless riding. The only down side was the centre line swivel on the bar.

I saw one in the air in Maui. Well I assume it was a Pivot since it had that shape and some colors / patterns I have not seen yet. Got nothing else to offer than that since the guy on it was just jumping.
I heard they start showing up in August...but I don't know eactly.
