From common people to common people...you think you are too old to freestyle? Check it out and try to find some inspiration and crazyness

err I'm 35 and just learning the sport lol

He is not old at all. When I was in Aruba, I met a 94 year old who was doing all kinds of craziness, making us youngsters look bad. Given the sport has only been around since about 2000, it means he learned at 80 at the earliest.

Kitesurfing is not a young only sport imo, in fact, other than a few dedicated college kids and industry related people, most of the people I see kitesurfing are 40+. The high initial expense to get into the sport is a barrier for most younger people when compared to surfing or snowboarding.

Hahahaha, love the intro! I know all of that stuff!

94 ???? That makes him the oldest kitesurfer in the world!
Any pictures??!

freestyle/wakestyle has absolutely nothing to do with age, just balls and talent.

If 35 is old then I guess I must be a fossil! 8) Woody, from "The Gorge", learned to kite at 82 last winter in the Turks and Caicos. Woody on the left. Photo by Cathy Padgett
