Yes, a dedicated wavekite would be nice. Easier reacting, faster turning, less lowend but the same fantastic relaunch and smooth power delivery in loops from the Rally. And in small sizes please. Although I would still have to work out why that kite would be great for my wife, too
And while we are at it. The bar. It's solid and reliable. But I don't like the plastic thing at the end of the depowerline in my eye, which happens from time to time if I have to depower. And my wife still has trouble depowering with the cleat and rope system so close to her. And the swivel just doesn´t work for me. I find it hard to believe that there is any swivel that really does work when you kite at sandy beaches and rotate a lot. Why not above the bar depower and a swivel at the chicken loop. Like for example bws and ozone have?

I did hear there was going to be a 2015 Wave kite from Slingy...based on 'Z' kite maybe?
Wow...that'd be interesting. Right now the Rally is the kite they market to wave kiters... If they amp'd up the Z (isn't that sold as a beginner kite now?) for waves, I wonder if they'd make some Rally changes to have it more focused towards something else.
Slingshot seems to take their time and watch what the market is doing before jumping in with a new platform. For instance, when some companies started making race specific kites, they didn't. They pointed out their products that were well suited for racing, but they waited...and...the race demand seems to have faded away once kiting did not get in the olympics. Same goes with not making race boards and I suspect we won't see them jump in with a foil board any time soon. So, as there seems to be an increased array of wave specific kites popping up from other vendors it'd make sense to have one now.
They have been successful keeping their kite lineup lean with 3 main kites, though. (I don't even know anyone with a Z?!?) So it is more likely they'd re-focus one of the three then make a 4th or 5th kite. (freestyle, wakestyle, wave)

Still hardly any news
I just saw this pic
The big one lookes like a Celeritas to me? The small one the 4.8 Alien Twister or 5.0 Ankle Biter? Tiny, I wonder who and what that might be for.
