Bleach does nothing for rust, nothing.
It can be hell on synthetic fibers though.

Salt and lemon juice,
Wet the area with lemon juice and rub in a little salt and leave it on on there until stain has disappeared, you may have to aggetate it once in awhile..
i did a kite and it took about half an hour to clear the rust stain, I watched it just to make sure it would not damage the cloth but it was all good.
It is bloody amazing.

So i have been quite busy but got some time to try vinager and lime. One at a time of course
The result was they did not work which surprised me!!
Any of you know any other ways?

It has absolutely no damaging effect on the kite. The plus part is that you do not have to rub the canopy. The detergent suggestion is not a runner due to discolouration from friction and the detergent particles. It is really easy to clean. Apply the acid and wait 30/60 seconds rinse well with fresh water and if there are any remaining persistant stains, repeat the process.
