Has anyone tried (or does anyone have an advice on) rigging a 2013 Ozone Reo with the Compstick bar by Slingshot?
I've found a fairly good deal on a barely used 6M 2013 Reo, and since I already own the 2011 and 2013 Rally's (with the corresponding bars) I thought I'd skip on buying the requisite Ozone bar and just use the Compstick bars. It appears the Reo flags out on a single line, so the safety system should still be a match. Wondering if the line lengths would work too. And if I get to the point of experimenting with combining the Reo and the Compstick, are there any precautions I should take (e.g. do it on a light wind day, have someone hold the kite a certain way when launching, certain things about the kite behavior when in the air that I should watch for, etc.)?
Thanks, ivan

I fly C4on compsticks with no problems, you may have to swap the pigtails round but i can't remember how they came as I mod all my kites and bars to be interchangeable.

Thanks for the tip.
I checked out the line length specs and it turns out the Reo flies on a 45cm bar with 25m lines, which is fairly close to my 12M Rally's 50cm bar with 23m lines.

Got the 6m Reo, and was able to fit the Compstick bar to it by swapping out the front/rear line ends on the bar (alternately, the front/rear bridle ends on the Reo can be switched to get matching connecting points, except those are a few cm's different between rear and front, whereas the bar line ends are of equal length). As far as I can tell, it handles just fine (but such a different feel compared to the Rally's I've been riding until now).
