Carbon mutant in the waves.

Postby plummet » Sat Jun 28, 2014 7:02 am

Hey bros,
Here's a quick vid of my new mutant in the waves. The angle doesn't do the size of the waves justice. There's some house sized monsters rolling through.

You looked pleased with it! :thumb:

Those are some long ol' waves... most of the spots I've been here seem to form and break right on the shoreline.

Concave is hard to show in a picture. Concave is about 6mm in the center and flattens out to flat about and inch or so before the edges. Concave also reduces to zero at about 200mm from each end

I'm in the land of epic waves Kamikuza! I have not seem a place that have better waves than my local. These were big monsters though. about 500m out at sea and up to double head some bigger they have a lot of momentum and break for hundreds of meters the reform and break again.

I've thought about building and selling boards. But I don't have enough time. This thing took me since Feb to build......

I was checking out your area on Google maps. Very unique geography and special place. Kind of place I would enjoy.

Whats the local vibe? hows unemployment and whats the main economies? Farming?

Definitely on my list if I go to New Zealand.

Local vibe is pretty chilled. Its a save place. Main economies at my local are oil and gas and farming. But theres a whole range country wide.
