I have a 17 Contra and appreciate any info.
I did give mine a good half inflated massage on the first pump, all seemed ok.
I've only pumped it twice, so will continue to watch for any problems, especially
At the wing tips.
Thanks
Kev

A forum of this nature is good to share experiences, issues, concerns, etc. What value are you adding with your comments!!! Others seem to have issues also so let's here about these.

I had my bladder pop a hole in the wingtip on my Switchblade. Turns out it was the result of a couple grains of sand getting into the wingtip area where the bladder folds up. I patched it and its been fine ever since and Im very careful when the wing tips are around sand. I open up wing tip folds when deflated and flush them out. Every time it seems a few grains and sand come out.

I've had it happen on both a new 2014 12m Switchblade belonging to a customer as well as my personal 2014 15m Contra.
Same bladder wingtip failure on both kites.
Cabrinha did send new bladders though I was expecting a lot more considering the "Cadillac" pricing they ask for these.
They are great kites and I do love my 15m Contra.
