"Two" (no pun) comments:

1) I grew up playing soccer and never once took a dive. You just fought until the whistle blew. Professional soccer players, who make a billion dollars (yes a billion) and who take dives and grab their ankles and roll around on the floor are an embarrassment to themselves, the sport and to all athletes worldwide. I think it's so uncanny that this past weekend, I was watching a recap of a World Cup game and turned it off after watching some pussy take a dive in slo mo. He looked ridiculous. When I changed the channel, funny enough, the 2014 Billabong XXL was on and I thought to myself here are true athletes, making very little money and garnering very little fame and not taking dives. The whole experience made me think of a t-shirt like: "A tow in surfer was coming down a 60' face and faked an injury and took a dive. Oh wait...that was pro soccer."

2) That is a very cool picture by Blade! One of the coolest I've seen! Is there one available without the gay soccer players on it?

Your trying to make this a USA vs the world thing ,
and i'm not trying to be cynical ; just pointing out a fact :

Poverty stricken arias World-wide , (including the USA)
seem to have an increase in crime rates, along with a higher
incarceration rate and lower education level. The lower education rate in
of itself, seems to correlate to a higher crime rate for any given demographic .
How is that helping society ?

Ha, no not really. Was just pulling your chain.

There's a Lot more money in soccer, and a Lot of people like that game, but i'd
rather be flying a kite. Bille

Speaking of picture : it said , "some people prefer sports
that require 2 balls" ; so lets define 2 BALLS .

Your closest neighbor is an Ass-(O) , the other one
is a Dick , who likes to throw-up in his best friend ; who
happens to be a Pussy .

Doesn't sound like a very good Friend !!!

I would understand it if that were true. But it's not. The vast majority of people who love football and all the other team/ball sports don't actually play them. They might watch it, and talk about it, and babble on about the personal failings and attributes of various players, but they don't actually play the game.

Some probably did play the game when they were kids at school, but I suspect that happens because team ball games are the most efficient way of getting a lot of kids to be active all at once. In richer countries it is also part of a deliberate program to breed a new generation of customers for those businesses.
Read again. After, 'play', it says, 'feel and love'. Ok, let's change billions by millions and we are ok. It's still the most popular sport in the world.
What's the problem if you enjoy the sport by watching, talking, analyzing or betting? You are having fun out of it. That's what counts.

You're wrong about the sports only being played for fun by kids. That may be the rule in your place. But in many places adults play football and many other ball sports to have fun with friends or get a workout.

Football doesn't discriminate. You may seem to have a problem with gay people though.
May be you're late a bit late with that kind of feeling.

I like gay people :thumb: I have gay friends :thumb: Gay is also used in Websters dictionary to mean happy, jovial or fun spirited. And yes, it is purported that Cristiano Ronaldo is worth $1B. And yes, anyone who takes a dive especially when the world watches it on slo mo is a homo.

Diving is part of football. If the player simulates and the referee 'buys it', it's good for the team.
On the other hand, when the player simulates it risks a yellow card, and that's bad for the team.
It's part of the game, and it's has nothing to do with being a homo.
Many of the great German players who won the world cup last Sunday are homos and nobody thinks they are cowards or don't have balls.

When a player simulates, and millions of people see it live, and the referee doesn't see it, the only one embarrassed is FIFA who has the technology to do the right thing and doesn't do it.
