2009 Rebel trailing center wear

Postby NYKiter » Fri Jul 18, 2014 3:21 pm

Been scooping up some very old Rebels on the VERY cheap lately and did some reinforcement sewing on the trailing edge in the middle of a few 2009s. Apparently this must have been why they brought the center strut back (among other reasons). Does anyone know if the wrinkles eventually tear open from canopy flutter over time?

I don't know although I did have a center panel replaced on my 2009 12m Rebel. It is a spare kite so I haven't used it much. You know about the noseline modification?

I do know about this mod. I never had a 2009 fold on me.
In fact they feel identical to the 2010s I have. But I probably dont put the strain on them a lot of kiters do to notice.
