Hegoa new brand of safety equipments for kitesurfer

Postby hegoa » Fri Jul 11, 2014 8:31 am

HEGOA is a new brand which develops safety equipments and accessories for watersports.
The first HEGOA’s product is a buyancy aid dedicated to kitesurf and windsurf. The Xtrem Rescue 50 (a patented system) is quite different from the other buyancy aids you can actually buy in your favorite surfshop : smaller, lighter and more discreet than the others.
Positionned under the spreader bar thanks to two ultra-resistant bungee cords, the Xtreme Rescue 50 keeps a low profile while you do not need it. Nevertheless it provides maximum safety when necessary while allowing you to move freely.
The inflating is ensured by a gas cartridge in order to limit the efforts to provide.

Because of its manual engagement system, the Xtrem Rescue 50 is dedicated to people who know the waterstart technique. Moreover, it cannot be used when the owner has passed out.

You can find all the photos of the Xtrem Rescue 50 on our Facebook page : http://www.facebook.com/hegoacompany

Where can you find the Xtrem Rescue 50 ? The entire list of our retailers will soon be revealed.

For more information on our products, do not hesitate to contact us via facebook or our email address : contact@hegoa-sports.com

what the hell does this even mean? I think especially the people who do not "know the waterstart technique" would need every piece of safety equipment available.

xtrem... as extreme rescue? so not the reliable rescue or safe rescue? is this because the only ONE gas cartridge being used to inflate the life vest? not like the coast guard approved inflatable vests with two cartridges?
probably costs more than coast guard approved one...

just another toy that gives you a false security feeling if you ask me...
