These look great! Specially for kiting where it seems a lot of us like to tweak things and try different combinations. Can leave the back fins off if you like, then when the wind/waves build and you want a little more hold your can snap the rear fins back in with your kite in the air!

Really nice for our sport...there are enough things to assemble when traveling. Be real nice to not need a tool for fins as well.

We'll have to see how the FCS II fin selection and prices develop, though. In the meantime you can get a kit for FCS fins conversion. You may want to travel with a set of grub screws and those silicone infills in case you break a fin and can only find FCS locally. ;)
Will my old FCS (dual tab) fins work with this system?
Yes, you can use all your existing FCS fins with the FCS II system. The FCS II plugs are backwards compatible - grub screws can be used within the FCS II plugs to secure your existing dual tab FCS fins.

FCS has designed a set of unobtrusive silicone infills to fill the gap created by the old fins in the new system. The infills are made from high quality silicone rubber which will not damage the plugs or fins. They are also extremely durable, light and built to withstand extreme temperature and corrosive conditions. The infills replicate the flush leading edge of the new fin design improving the performance of the old fins

You don't really need the infill kit, it just makes it more hydrodynamic. For kiting it isn't as much as an issue as with regular surfing.

Nice! I had wondered that. Good to know. So using the FCS fins is a non issue as long as you have some grom screws, which I'm sure you can pick up in any store that also sells the fins. Thanks.
