no center strut!
Yes this I know. Its a 6'er.

Get your ass out there and test the final product. Stop cruising the forum!

Loaded 5th too.... Oh this is a game changer!

Little smaller LE

No pulleys... kind of hybrid bridle.

Wing Tips look like its 2011 roots.

Yep looks like it's got a bit of 2011 in those wing tips for sure, with a splash of the 2015 dyno. And it's got the one pump from the rebel...probably why they called it a rebel..bahahahahhaha,

Big ass open canopy in the centre supported by a loaded fifth (oh there is some more rebel), with serious support at the wingtips,.damn I hope it sucks...$$

By the way it's all good news......

Now ride that bad boy Toby !!!

According to this; the cam battens are still there. A ton of reading on the 2015: http://www.powerkiteshop.com/kites/northrebel07.htm

"A short sizzling noise of a very small amount of air escaping from the interspace when taking of the
bayonet is normal."

I want to kite, not take a bayonet!

yes, it still has battens closer to the tips.
The protos didn't have it, and no problem. I assume you can take them out.

Soon more.

Got 6 kites all with battens,,, what's the issue? Harder to pack up? So?

Do what I do, throw those stupid kites bags in a container in the shed, get yourself a big duffel bag and throw the bloody kites in there after a sesh. No need to worry about how is rolled up!

Got a 16 and 18m dyno in one of those bags, not a problem.

Thanks for the link...lots of good information. I'd still like to know more about the size "groupings". Last few years, I always thought of the Rebel sizes in the following manner: 7, 8, 9 plenty fast and excellent handling - no bad tendencies --- 10, 11 very sweet kites, these two felt almost identical with the 11 having a tad more power, but handling was VERY similar and very well tuned. --- 12 and over felt like big kites, slower turning and not very playful. Really no need for a smaller rider to go larger than the 11m.

Has anything changed? Have they managed to speed up the 12m at all? I'd love to hear some feedback for anyone who gets a chance to ride these soon as I am looking for an upgrade for my 2012 11m. (I do have the 2013 10m)
