He said: most of these spots look crap!

I said: yeah, I hear ya, conditions are everything, and listed a few fave spots.

You said: whatever, my fave spot rocks cause it has great parking.

I said: Then post a pic, and that the dude from the Ukraine who lives right beside some kind of kite dream is awesome.

In low tide the water drops anywhere from 3-12 inches deep. Super flat, very windy. There is a causeway that passes right through it, so inland side is always flat no matter windy or tide conditions.

I took this photo from the causeway in January. I have been here 4 times and it really is amazing.

Madagascar: Anakao, Port Dauphin and Ile Sainte Marie.
Ordered my flight to Mada minutes after watching the FOne movie Antandroy. One of the very best kite movie IMHO.

Sanur, Blue Oasis Beach Club.
Great waves on the reef. Only drawback not practical at low tide. Beat months: July, August and beginning September. After, move to Sumbawa (waves!), or better to Rote.

Serious question, not trying to be a dick or anything. How is kiting in a war-zone? I watched ton of videos from Ukraine conflict and and sure as hell it doesn't seem like a good time for kiting. Yes, I know it is winter right now, but if the conflict is still raging come summer, are you going to get out there?

when i am home - i kites all the year around when air temperature is not less then +3 C
the deal is that its about 500km from me to the front line, the Crimea is much closer - about 70 km by the road and 40 km by water and in a case of an invasion from there i`ll be on the edge...
though try to thinking in a good way - kiting helps)
