Hmmm.... I don't think so....

It's based on numbers from ISAF.... that is trying to get the sport into the Olympics.

From what I can see there is a decline in kiters... at least in Los Angeles and Long Beach.

Kitesurfari even closed it's doors. Both the Santa Monica Store and the store in Long Beach or Huntington Beach. Gone along with their "instructors".

I used to see instructors giving lessons nearly all the time.... now very rarely.

Fred that is surprising considering the rate of growth we are seeing up here around the Great Lakes, and just last week in Turks I would say there were at least twice as many as there were the same week last year... (that could just be a fluke)...

Epic selling roughly 10000 kites in 2011. Sheesh D is doing allright, well into the 7 figures.
