@dracop & @LTD WaterSports - Sean, now that you've put yourself (reputation) into this, it's only fair to tell us the outcome when it is all said and done.
I will update you guys how this works out, I already had a negative answer so there is nowhere lower to go. Hopefully LTD can help, was a bad answer from Best tbh.

Dracop....feel for you buddy.
Do you still need a pair or straps and pads? I have some of the Axis Traction Pro's on sale and if anything happens within 12 months, I'll personally stand behind them. I've sold a lot of these and have zero failure rate so far.

I'll ship them at no charge. I hate seeing guys not able to get on the water due to gear issues.
Thanks,
Bob

Steven here, I work for Best! More than happy to help out. Sean got me your contact info and I'll be emailing you directly. For anyone else that wants to reach out to me, my email is sborja [at] pureactionsports.com
For future reference, we developed a ridiculously simple online form for anyone to use to request a warranty:
http://www.bestkiteboarding.com/en-us/issue-form/
It's the most straightforward warranty/support in the industry--in our opinion;) hehe
Not sure why you were "denied" because I don't see your case in the system but we'll get you sorted from here. Happy holidays everyone!

Sean is 'LTD WaterSports' - seems he's done good! (Good job Sean!)
Wonder where the communication breakdown was prior to all this hoopla. S'pose we'll never really know.
The power of this forum is pretty evident though

Ok so I was contacted by Best, both Sean and Ryan Evans emailed/called me. They are working out how to get me new straps/pads, will update once I receive them. LTD did as promised getting ahold of Best and is both a great guy for helping out on an issue not his own and influential. Would definitely recommend as a reputable retailer.

Actually they did one better, as I am about to fly out to Costa Rica to hit the Bahia de Salinas. They arranged for me to pickup a set of 2015 Mercury Straps/Pads at a local retailer, which I did today
At this point I have the new straps/pads installed on my board (although I am struggling to get the duck equal on both sides just right).
So Best totally stepped up to backup their product. They did ask for any future warranty stuff to go directly through their website vs asking dealers to submit claims.
Power of the internets! Very glad I posted here instead of just sulking away and buying a new set of straps. Oh and props to LTD, who called up Best to get them to review my case. Went out of his way on a warranty claim not his own, thats believing in your product lineup!

Correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't it Teijin ( a division of DuPont ) and North Kiteboarding that did the D2 Technoforce double-ripstop polyester ?
I read or heard somewhere that North paid & worked with Teijin to develop it and for that they got a 2 year exclusive supply agreement. That 2-years is up and now D2 is available to all the kite companies.
Glad to, I will let the OP come back with the finial say. It will be a positive outcome. Keep in mind I have nothing to gain from this nor does my company other then maybe a few visitors to this thread seeing that LTD took notice and tried to help a fellow kiter out.
If theres anything you should know about me or the company I run its we value relationships above and beyond anything else. I will admit its very hard to keep everyone happy all the time but I will do everything in my power to take care of our fellow kiters.

Update: Best contacted me and set me up with a new pair of straps and pads, so this issue was resolved favorably. I leave the original text for existing discussion members.
Think you should remove the OP because it is factually incorrect, you say they don't support their customers yet in the same post say that they have resolved the issue favourably????
