By safety I meant line strength. I've seen lines breaking and if it's in the middle of a jump(murphy's law), it ain't pretty! Never comented on the safety. I think 4 line safety is generally less secure than 5 lines. Breaking lines though, are pretty much unconceivable at 800 kg maximum load of the new core lines.

I don't think I'd be a big fan of the zero stretch lines on the $699 bar. Our lines stretch and give a bit when we jump or when there are gusts and the lines help absorb some of the energy.
And it does not matter how strong the lines are if something goes wrong like it did yesterday when I tried a Core 10m for the first time. I was riding along roughly 15 meters from shore when I hear a loud pop! The kite fell from the sky and fluttered out of control as it bounced up and down on the sand on it's two steering lines. The center lines were no where to be seen.
I did not know what happened but knew something snapped or broke. When we got the kite under control and diagnosed the problem it turned out to be a knot in the center line safety just below the bar (the white plastic piece just above the metal ring your leash attaches to) - the knot let go and when it does, the center lines pass through the bar and are now only connected to the kite bridles, nothing else.
Quite the scare!! I was amazed at how one simple knot could prove to be so important. But I guess all bars have a single point of failure too.

Is there a reason why you're not using it for kites ?

That is a good question Mr.
romkite.
There is few things to consider.
1) These pumps are more expensive then the normal pumps that most of the kite companies use. So this will increase the price of a kite. And most kiters are looking to save money.
2) These pumps are new in the market so I need more time to test them and see how long they will last. So far so good when using them with our SUP inflate boards.

Good point.

Just sayin' (Subject Change) - Core blew it with this marketing nonsense. I'm not believing a word they say about anything. I'll be relying on an unbiased human to tell me the low down. If I wanted this pump I would buy from Dmitri.

Just sayin...go ahead...try it....."scroll and pump" a virtual 4 sqm kite to 8 PSI while at the computer
http://pump.corekites.com/us/
It will (almost

) make you feel like you are going out for a high wind session
Looks like it's going to be a fast pump
