Hi, My name is Laura and I ride an Ozone Edge 9 after learning on a Kaiman 12.
I am "fully stoked" and would like to chat to other ladies of my age group, lets say in the second half of our century.

Gilana.
I'm sure there are loads, not sure where you would find them to discuss.
As you can see by Rbgar's comments, this forum has a lot of keyboard dick heads on it.
Unfortuantly if you follow any of the threads Maturity falls foul of immaturity
Best of luck as it's an awesome sport with loads of great people, just not on the forums
Paul

Yep...maturity sometimes in short supply round here...:-|... I do know some ladies that kite...not many surfing forums though and that's probably why there are tone issues. You might find some on kitesista and kiteboarding for girls.

Perhaps
http://www.kb4girls.org would be a good place to look around as well.

You're an idiot! Were you born that way, or did you work hard to develop this trait over time?

STAND DOWN Rbgar! Everyone other than NJOY knows you were kidding. You put a smiley there and everything. Last thing we need is another thread going off the rails....
Glad to hear you are kiting gilana and I'm sure you'll run into plenty of women kiting, of all ages. I certainly see more older guys than older ladies, but I have regularly kited with a woman in her 70s who kites and I know down in Hatteras there are plenty of women who kite that are over 50 and rip. You're in great company!

I know many ladies in their higher age.
I think the oldest is about mid 60s I know of.
And just met a lady from Brazil, being 46, and jumping higher than the guys!
Enjoy the sport, no mater the age!!!
