Well, because there are a variety of ways to do it, they have all been done, and whoever did it first claimed it by naming it. You pull something new and you'll get to do the same. Until then, it's already been invented, and if you go calling it something else. Well, your wrong.

Most of the names probably originated with skateboarding then snowboarding..... so, maybe we should compare skating to kiting? Get it?

Well go right ahead, an Ollie is an Ollie doesn't matter if your skateboarding or on a kite skate. All those tricks are the same. Wakeboarders, like kiters have a bar. It's a pretty logical they share mostly the same tricks. Kiters on surfboard share moves with surfing, but most of the strapless freestyle moves are from skateboarding.

Never knew you call it inverted in combination with a raley.
Not quite. Feet above head IS the trick...

Its only called a raley if you manage to get inverted. If you dont get those feet up, you didn't actually achieve the raley any more than missing a grab is the grab. Sooooo, all raley based trick is are inverts.

Haha, that flashed an image of a 220lb 6foot 4 kami rollerblading down some crowded street in Japan!

Armed only with a protractor, plumb bob and no sense of humor, the Trick Police is there saving the world from stunters and kooks that dare to call a trick something it is not. Their eagle eyes scour the forum every day, and if they see an infraction they pounce, fingers clicking across the keyboard with tremendous speed and fury. Their only pay for constant vigilance is a job well done. Thank you Trick Police, thank you.
