Probably because he is sponsored by Naish? He also puts redbull and other stickers on his boards and kites...which is pretty common if you are a sponsored rider.

I think that most "kite brands" making or wanting to make foils (Except Zeeko & F-One) are doing the same or entering the market with minimum investment low cost aluminum foils.

Seen the actual product now in video & pics, who's ridden it & can compare to other foils? Any news on pricing?

Makes sense. Didn't seem to work out well for North. They released a learner friendly foil with the (implied) promise of new foil profiles to come and then this year, nothing and the product is gone from the site. It was a premium priced product so its a shame it didn't last more than a season in the market.
By all accounts the board is good, and I liked the assembly design (quick and easy to put together).
Was expecting to see some new profiles come to the market but now ....

I finally got it. The Naish Hover 160. Ive only tried it once and it kicked my ass but I progressed pretty rapidly. The egg shape and the front end rocker really help from pearling.definitely wearing a helmet ! getting hit by it will suck !
