Would you pay Woo 20 usd a month for a subscription?? If so then maybe there's a sustainable business case.

So, lets say we develop a kiteboard sensor with 95% accurate jump height, acceleration curves over time, ability to sync with action camera for auto editing and trick analysis. Let's say we can put 2 acceleration sensors on your board and one on your kite LE and time sync the sensors. And finally, we provide a body worn Sensor ( that's 4 sensors) with GPS and LTE near- real -time connectivity allowing ad-hoc real-time competition and sns sharing. no phones needed.

What would you pay for this, and what monthly subscription? Of course we could have different monthly based upon services, but simplicity rules.

Figure out development costs of sw +hw+ aftermarket services, manufacturing, marketing, vs sales price and subscription price x number of users. There might be money in other revenue streams. Still doesn't add up.

Even with the advanced product I'm sketching above, You guys won't pay for it.

Investors would rather buy a beer can factory.

I am not a team rider for any of these products, But all I know is that some of the WOO guys loved the SCREAMER models during the DIMITRI BOOT CAMP. :thumb:

When did they raise the price to $250?? And no GPS? In another thread they're talking about the new Xensr app for Apple watches. Its free, and you get jumps plus gps and speed and heart rate. Apple watch twos are the same price at best buy. Woo is fucked.

$240 a year : $480 spend in year two and $720 by year three? Hell no. In all other sports the apps are free and no janky hardware. Nike, strava and you get amazing details on your sport and fitness. Im trying to decide between a apple watch 2 or 3 but I think i will get the 2 for $260 at best buy.

Yep I was going to buy a Woo 2 but going the Apple Watch/Xensr app route. Now if I could only find a decent pair of waterproof bluetooth headphones I would be all set.
