What's everyone's favorite wind app

Postby Kitemanmuc » Sat Jan 23, 2016 4:46 am

Are there any super cool wind apps that I don't know about that are not so popular?

What's everyone's favorite. Been liking the new Windguru site and Wisuki and Windy apps

Windfinder app works well for me at the beaches I go to.

I do like the https://www.windyty.com site for visualising it all.

I find the FREE computer models on IKitesurf to be as good if not better than the human forecast.
The FX models are also free and are very good IMO.

Do you guys use the superforecast on windfinder or the regular? For some reason the superforecast is always different than the regular. But the majority of the time when they say there's wind, there's wind...

Windalert works pretty good for me, but to get the most out of it, you should look at the different models available for the forecast.

I also find the wind forecast on wunderground to be fairly accurate.
