Hi !
I'm searching a kite for freeriding, big air and sometimes surfing because i don't have big waves on my spot of northwest of France. I'm 1m90 and 85 kg. I think a quiver 12-9-7 or 12-9-6 should be better for me.
I'm hesitating between 3 kites :
- Switchkite Nitro5
- Cabrinha Switchblade
- Airush Varial X (2015)
Thank you very much for your advices

You cannot go wrong with the Nitro! Especially for big air!
Cheers

having ridden all three and wanting a little wave time I'd be looking at the SB or varial, SB my first choice. Holds itself together really well when really lit (when you really get big air). Then again I wouldnt be choosing any of those three...
You need to ride them as everyone will just give their opinions like mine.

I had a 2015 and 2014 Switchblade Last year and I found it was too slow for waveriding but great for boosting big air and cruising, really stable kite.

Cabrinha FX
Airush Union
Nitro boosts huge but is a tat heavy for waves
In a perfect world I would have all of the above on 3 struts up to size 9m and on 5 struts from 10m on.

remember he said sometimes surfing and small waves (not big). Heck used to ride lei race kites in those conditions just fine, just have to adjust.
agreed be nice MB man to have 3 struts in the smaller sizes then 5 from 10 on, when the larger canopies need that support and ya want smaller canopies to drift a bit more.

Put the ozone edge on your list. It's a boost n glide machine.

id go switchblade if its the 2016 version. I think the core XR series would also be a good fit for you as well for big air and versatility

Switchblade is very slow and I think that the 2016 is the same that my previpreviously 2015. No great improvements for this kite year after year.

Cabrinha FX is sick. I rode one recently in 25 KTS and it was pretty amazing.
