Cool, BigR, your girl clearly had talent. You got lucky. Glad to hear it. I know a few couples who are self-taught; they are fine! Personally I spent too much money on instructors when my husband wasn't around: it just got me in the habit of getting my kite set up and pumped and washed and deflated by others, which is pretty lazy... But nothing beyond that. If anything it made me more dependent on others and less confident... But that's life... Messy

I find that most women take to kite surfing quite well, well, the water aspect anyway.

I think it's the years of washing dishes that makes them feel so at home in water.

Personally, I would rather get her driving skills sorted first. One thing at a time, one thing at a time.

Hi all,

I have a kitesurf hotel in Madagascar, Sakalava Bay, next to Diego Suarez. The name is KiteParadise Madagascar. The wind is incredibly strong here and the conditions are the best I have ever seen in the world.
I chose to establish my resort there cause it is for my the most beautiful place on earth to practice kitesurf. It is a magical place where your wife can learn safely in a very romantic atmosphere.
