20mph biggest kite is 8m Wave (plus a 6m) and surfboard. I'm 83kg been kiting 17yrs, unless it's windy and wavy I can't be arsed with the drive!

145 lbs, 12 knots or so with a 12m kite. Not really worth riding in less than that

7-8kt....OR Flite with foil. Fitting in kiting with a busy life, means you don't always gets to choose when you go. The light wind solution is for times that a maintenance dose is needed. Or skunk avoidance on road trips.

With a surfboard, need 10kt to make it worthwhile.

6-7 knots BRM C2 17m + foil but it's hard to go downwind and if you dump the kite it's not coming back up. 160 lbs / 72 kg.

8 knots with the Paipo but it's boring as hell and you gotta work to hold ground. At least foiling is still interesting in 6 knots. Still have to test out the low end of my finless skim as it gives you something to do besides mow the lawn.

4 knots buggy,6 knots landboard, 10 knots coffin lid tt.

But that's desperation kiting.

In reality I can't be bothered unless it's.
10 knots buggy
13 knots landboard
15 knots water.

So you are into hydrofoiling now ???

If not, that is THE dumbest comment ever

Unless you weigh 350 pounds or more, then it makes sense if you got a 10 as your max and want full power and ease and high jumps, before you desire to go out :D

7-8kn on Flydoor XL twintip + Sonic-FR 15m2 on 100+ kg class. <= is also with jumping transitions and basic rolls.
Lowend still unknown on foil and directional (without foil). I hope to achieve 6kn on foil to allow more "July kiting".
