Postby zilvasc » Thu Jun 30, 2016 9:11 am

Hello fellow kiters,

I have booked a holidays in Crete in august, and was wondering if somebody could give me some info about how is the wind situation in august. According to windguru archive it is not much wind to be found at all... I hope it is not true.
All help is help!

Thank you in advance! :bye:

Dude, that was very little optimism, 12 m the biggest I have at the moment. Or it will be plan B as you say, good opportunity to learn surfing

Platanias is in Chania. I am from Chania, last year i was there 1 month in August. We got lucky 3 times. There is an other spot 1:30 hour from Platanias, called Elafonisi, with more wind. I ll be there again this year. Let's hope for the best.
