Does anyone know if you can still kite at the beach next to wet n wild in Cancun? Heading there is a couple of weeks and don't want to make the trek all the way out to Isla Blanca or Tulum from the hotel zone. Also hear I may be able to rig in the empty lot next to Live Acqua (old threads) and will check it out when I'm there.
Thx!

I'm 99% sure that you can, at least from what I remember from going in January this year. I took a lesson with Playa Del Carmen Kiteboarding (really nice guys, double check with them), and it was too rough on the beach so we drove up to the Mirador park. Nice spot, except that you had to wade through about 50 feet of terribly smelly garbage/weeds that were pushed up on shore before getting to clear water.
