Perth in January

Postby frankiej » Wed Dec 21, 2016 4:33 am

Hello!

We will be in and around Perth for a holiday in January and I can bring two kites.

I weight around 90 kilos (~200 pounds). In order to maximize my chances of kiting, am I better of taking

a) an 8m2 and a 10m2

or

b) a 10m2 and a 12m2

Thanks in advance for your input!

9 and 12 would be best... so go your 10 & 12 for your 90kg and stay powered..
Use the above seabreeze link - its fairly accurate for Perth... if the morning forcast is 5-10 knot sth easterly - it will Crank the seabreeze like clockwork by 2-3pm

Theres a group of people who do Downwinders in Perth - thats alot of fun to mix things up..
Also theres Woodies - awesome flatwater spot in a sth west.
Watch for early morning anything Easterly too.. if its forcast 15knots, it can actually be 20-25 on the river (it funnels).. dead flat behind a Sandbar at Point Walter. But be there at 7am ! Or youll miss it

hey guys, i did a roadtrip las summer along WA but got my car broken into in geraldton and i lost my Passport so had to go back (i know.. but my car was 2 meters away from me in the beach, and they told me it was the only please i should be careful in the trip).
a friend of mine is going this summer and she asked me for a "Schedule" or info of every spot along to coast to check out. I remember there wasnt that much info and i made my own, but since i couldnt get to exmouth(which i still regret and swore to go) i dont remember each spot.
Do you have a page or something where i could get this kind of info?

Cheers
