Hi guys
I need a new harness for waveriding and i think i´ll go with the RideEngine.
but i don´t wanna have the slider bar because i still wanna be able to ride the waves unhooked.
so there option would be the fixed hook..now i was reading good things about the Dynabar i´m just worried a bit that the bar is to far away for my short arms and also hooking back in could be a bit tricky ...another option would be to go with the NP S1 Tracker....
maybe you can help me with some inputs
thanks

What's wrong with the hook that RE sells with it?

That dynabar hook sucks ass. The screw that holds the pulley in place eventually untwists, so your kite flags out unexpectedly.
IMO you can either pay 35 dollars for the sucky dynabar, or you can just get the hook attachment from ride engine for 50.

Dakine makes a sliding spreader bar that has a hook on it. Seems like a pretty good compromise if you want to unhook in waves. The dakine c-1 doesn't seem all that different from ride engine harness (I own c-1, but have tried both on).

How does it not happen? They send you a screw with nothing on the other end to tighten it down with. It's a piece of shit, not only will you lose the hook, but you will also put yourself in danger when the chicken loop detaches from your harness...
