Hi kitesurfers!
I found a very simple and gratis conversion on Youtube how to convert the F-One MonoLith bar (for the Bandit kites) to flag on one line instead of two lines. It is discussed here at this forum already:

What do your experts think about it?

I tried to discuss the one line flag conversion with F-One and sent a mail to them. I got this answer:
Our R&D team has not tried out this configuration. We are not able to officially approve this method.
Maybe they have got an idea

Pure BS. The bars for the Furtive and Diablo come with single front line safety and low V.
I really don't know with they stick to this outdated bar for the Bandit...
Even Alex Caizergues is using a low V bar with the Bandit if you look closely at his content on the social media...

I can't believe F-one is now the ONLY brand that flags their biggest selling kite (Bandit) on two front lines. Reminds me of them using the velcro QR when everybody else was on some kite of push away QR! Come one F-one, it's year 2017, not 2005 FFS!

what's strange is when you talk to f-one rider about that issues they have no idea what you are talking about, most people haven't used their QR. At first I was blaming it on my self rescue skills. Now that I have seen my wife learning in cabrinha in Aruba offshore and hitting QR every 10min to walk back upwind, I understand why 100> depower is needed, makes self rescuing, self landing way easier...
Still not convinced the kite flags out perfectly on one line, it's possible it s not stable ont it's flag position because of bridle placement, occasionally if I hold one center line while walking back to narrow beach the kite tumbles around instead of staying in its position but that's when wind is strong...
anyway make sure to test flag system well after you convert to single line.

Winemaker can you pm how you convert he bar to one line have a new bat I would like to convert if it is that easy. I haven't used it cause of the safety. Use oz Me bars on mine at the mo. Flies sweet as a nut on them and safety works fine.
Any one flown a bandit on a north trust quad bar? Does the v position alter the kite performance much ?

I am wondering about the same things. My 2010 switchblade died, want a bit more reactive 12, switchblade 9 is fine.
Cant find anywhere how to turn monolith bar to single line and i got 12m bandit 8 practically for free and in pristine condition. Anyone?
Regarding safety:
My switchblades (ids 2010, 2011) work on 2 front lines too. In normal to well powered situations, works flawless. Kite just disconnects, turns upside down then slaps on the water sideways depowered, like 5% pull. Regarding my 12m, in marginally light situations, kite did the same thing, stayed LE down and still catching some wind. Its like not enoguh force to turn the kite on its back. I just pulled center lines 2 myself and it would fix itself. Only in light wind, never in normal or well powered conditions.
