I love the 9 meter version nine but what ozone say is to pump kite to 7 psi is like a flaccid penise, You have to pump to atleast 9psi and that's still not hard. What does everyone pump theres too? I'm to scared to pump kite until its rock solid like I do on my switch kites!

Yesterday I finally had the chance to test my brand new V9 13m in decent conditions, 15-20 knots with lulls to 10 or so, I,m 90 kg, board Shinn Ronson 138.

The biggest improvement in the V9 ( I had V8 before) is the stability. You can boost to the moon and you are total confident that you will land like a feather, no LE bending and no surging in the WW no matter if gusts hit or not, something I have never felt with the previous version, when needed to not sheet in too hard or you got dropped like a rock, and more likely to hindenburg in gusts.

Totally worth the upgrade.
Yeah, well, good for you.

For my 60kg, the above issues never happened with 13, 11 or 9 v7 :)

Totaly not worth for lighter riders than ;)

How is LE seam done on Switchy? And how is done on Edges? Thats the real question, not the ping test ;)

The Flysurfer Boost says xyz psi. guess what? Tad more than that and bang, LE erupted.

The Edge is holding just b/c the LE is that thick.

I talked to the ex part owner of Switch who said there leading edge material is a lot thicker. I had version 1 nitros for 5 years pumping them rock solid and never had leading edge problem. I pump the egde to 7 psi and where the stitching goes round the keading edge its bulging slightly, 7 psi is definitely no where near enough pressure. I do the ping test. It doesn't ping til over 9psi

Yep, Im with you. Im done with Edges, they do perform but man, they are fragile...

They've always been, but not seeing any improvements yet in that department.
