Postby stru » Tue Apr 25, 2017 7:44 am

The objectives of SportAccord are:
a) to facilitate and promote knowledge-sharing and exchange of information between its
members;
b) to support the organisation of the annual SportAccord Convention and IF Forum;
c) upon request from and in agreement with its Members, to develop specific services for its
Membersin unique areas which avoid duplication and overlap;
d) to organise and coordinate multi-sports events and support the organisation of multisports
games by its Members in agreement and cooperation with its Members;
What you think?
Kitesurf as an independent sport or a Sailing Class ?

Wtf is sportaccord, and why does every sport have people lusting after and jacking off to the idea of having their sport in the Olympics?

Anything is an improvement on sailings delusional, historic lie with no history to back it up - that kiteboarding and kitesurfing are sailing. Greedy liars - This corruption happens in all sports when olympic money comes into play > > >

Examples:

---Happen with snowboarding (skiing took over -in fact worlds best snowboarder refused to enter)

---Look at SUP - has been running for years mostly with help from ISA - now... talk of olympic funding - and now the canoeing authorities decide they want to be the IOCs partner = $
" the International Canoe Federation is claiming the use of a paddle means it should control SUP" sound familiar?! lol fu$%wits

---Look at skateboarding - in the 40 year history of competitive skateboarding organisation - suddenly the The Fédération Internationale Roller Sports (FIRS) wanted the $ having done nothing in history for skateboarding.

Combining snowkiting and kitesurfing/kiteboarding/buggying is not even a great idea in my opinion. Kitebuggying is really it's own scene, as is snowkiting.

Who knows how to manage a sport better that the actual sport itself?!

When I see the WKL under the GKA(Olympic parters for freestyle via world sailing) and IKA under GKA (Olympic parters for racing via world sailing) I think what a bunch of $$$sellouts$$$.

WKL live cast were possibly the most boring format in all history of kiteboarding - much like watching paint dry. and as for IKA... wtf planet did that come from?! - where you pay to be a member of a kitesurfing organisation into a windsurfing bank account?! lol

KITEBOARDING IS NOT A SAILING DISCIPLINE.

I'm happy to consider kiting an activity, and not a sport. But I guess some people need validation.
