9m TS landed today, looks perfect. Lime and red colours, 47cm RED bar. Nice QC check list stickered onto the packaging. The build quality is exemplary, always was. Comes with a few zip ties and some hose for the inflation system, pack of stickers and stencils, and the 3-in-1 sock bag. Fold it up and it's the same size as the shipped kite, extend it and it'll take the kite with struts inflated. Suits me for carrying it to the beach flat packed and back to the car half inflated. No pump, Can't say I'm bothered by that I still have loads of them in the cellar.
I'll take some pics this weekend and report on how it flies. I don't imagine it'll get a proper flight until Autumn comes with some serious wind. 9m is 20k+ kite for me, my small kite.
Looks good though, solid package, well finished.
Sound good men, can you also make a picture of the bag/sleeve?

Anybody knows where to buy a TS 2017 model in 11 or 12 meters?

sounds like a joke, what a mega stupid decision, a kite without bag !
Well ... everybody's got an opinion. The sensible thing is to provide kites with a simple, lightweight sock with all kites and then provide a large, well designed backpack as an additional option. It is the most practical thing for packing a kite for short & long distance travel. All the Cabos I have bought came with both the kite sock AND the big Best backpack bag. A Best backpack is ideal for transporting a couple of kites (in their socks), pump, bars, harness etc. from your car to the beach. I have 5 or 6 of these backpack bags & only ever have reason to use one. I also have a couple of LQF kites that came with ridiculously heavy, bulky (but small) backpack bags (no sock) that are totally useless - I don't use them at all.

Agree. Had best kites for years. The sock bag and separate backpack is genius but you really only need one backpack. Just like you really only need one pump.
And the backpack could not have been cheap to make.

Are the Cabos still around or did that design go with the other brand?
The designer went to Eleveight. If you liked the Cabo, then the WS will be the upgrade. They are amazing kites!!

Haven't had any wind yet, well enough for my 15m flysurfer but not 9m TS weather. it looks fine though, detailing is all good, the bar's top notch as usual.
Can't wait to fly it in anger.

Let's see what they come up with for 2019? With the kite designer gone, are they hiring a new designer and start new kite designs from scratch? Or just keep changing colors and print?

If they would just have the kite factory dig out the prints for the 2008-2010 Waroo and sell them for $350; could be number 1 in the industry! Bring out a $99-$150 kite bar...
