All great points thanks all.

Perhaps undo the valve when standing as per usual then put in a half turn and fold kite slowly - the air should still come out

Thanks for the heads-up.

Our two V9 Edges do not have that system, they have fold-over tips like the struts.
Our second hand V8 Edge has the elastic retainer, so I decided to take a look.
I found about 20 grains of sand exactly where you mentioned right in the compressed area.
There was no damage or deformation, so I shook the sand to the end of the bladder and re-fitted it as before.

Obviously the previous owner let some sand in, its quite easy. Our V9's have never seen sand as we only boat launch.

I see. Or perhaps odd numbers that aren’t a prime :roll:

I’m such a nerd I took a photo.
I'm such a nerd that I measured the Enduro V2 bags:

Height x width (cm)

6m = 57 x 33
8m = 57 x 33
10m = 64 x 39
12m = 64 x 39

So if your 9m is in a 64 x 39 bag then yes, it will be a bit big. Very well made bags with excellent zips.
