Bags - broken zips, crap pockets, any good replacements?

Hi,

I need a couple of new bags for my kites. Must have lots of straps for attaching pumps and kiteboard. A pocket for my bar and lines.

Zips that still work after the first 10 minutes on the beach. And a key pocket and clip.

I'd like some mesh at the bottom to let all the sand out.

Any ideas?

I would ask on the Switch forum, Switch sells kite bags as stand alone.
Ikea sells the best kite bags (do a search on this forum, I posted about it recently...)

I also have an IKEA bag...it's transparent and big of size. Excellent. No extra pockets though and gets carried like a normal bag, not like a backpack. But if this is ok, then get one of those...if you have an Ikea close to you.

Same. IKEA bags. Cheap to buy. Zips seem to last as long as manufacturer bags (12-18 months) then I get another one for less than the price of a new zip.

I have the large ones that have rucksack straps on. Pump fits in with the kite if need be. A couple of bungees and you can strap the board onto the back.

Why are they still using those zippers that corrode after such a short time?

slingshot has the big plastic zipper pull, they seem like the best thing.
