Great freestyle kite, very stable (not twitchy), slacks well. The kite jumps well when powered and with that I mean REALLY powered, with my 9m I need 35+ knots to really go big and I weigh around 78kg. It's low-end is pretty bad overall but it's high-end is endless (had the 9m out yesterday in 42kn gusts and it was fine in that wind).

you still on ocean rodeo razor? used GP 9m and razor 10m back to back, maybe it's personal feeling but prefer GP 100%, the razor has a lot of power very early and probalby need a lot more sheeting out. The GP I don't feel like I need to sheet out that much wen I send it, power comes a bit more naturally right before you pop. I guess razor might have more low end not sure. razor felt pretty unstable too in comparison but could have been gusty wind when I tried it.

I have 2015 GP, pretty much like Frank said, it boost very easily but to go huge you need 30+ wind. I start to have fun from 22-25 but don't really straight up boost in those wind.
My buddy got 2016 and is really happy with it, pretty similar review as far as I can tell. the tip looks a bit rounder

Looks like 2017 they squared back up the tip.

Yes I am, and I totally agree with you! Razor has the feeling that will rip you off, especially in unhooked tricks.

The bottom line is that I want to improve my wakestyle riding and that will happen if I go to a more suitable kite for unhooked tricks.

Any other info would be appreciated :)
Maybe about the quality of the construction of the GP
From the photos around the internet it looks pretty solid.

Construction is pretty solid, never had any issues with the 2015 and 2017 models except for valves coming off on the 2015 gp's.

Construction is really solid, after one year I can't notice any wear or change in flying characteristic, the lines on the bar are great.
2015 had issues with glue on valve like many brands, my buddy just got 2016 and no issues on it.
one thing to consider is the chicken loop size on the GP bar which is huge, I like it but some of my buddies don't like it so much. Though since you don't really need to push bar out all the way I have never felt like it was screwing up my stance. I ended up shortening bar throw after a few month to retune bar (shrinking line) because after attempting kiteloop bar spin I had trouble grabbing the bar back haha.

Wakestlye I am a noob (only simple rotation) so can't comment much but definitely has nice slack even on freestyle line setting on kite, haven't tried wakestyle setting.
I unhook a little bit on GP 9m, I also have Star Sirius 12m which has incredible slack, very easy progression on it.

By the way kiteloop are really nice on it too at my level.
