I thought this thread was going to show how to self launch a kite with a moving car, sorely disappointed.
Agree :thumb: straight downwind hot launch in 2 kn of wind....step on gas full throttle...get that sucker up above into the gradient wind

I hope this is off topic, but someone just told me about a fireman who was working on the roof of his house and he had tied off with a rope to his vehicle. His wife came out of the house and drove the vehicle away and pulled him off the roof, breaking some bones in the fall.

I guess you never know, so make sure the car the can't move.

I wouldn't worry too much. Your kite would launch just fine.

The easiest way to selflaunch is using the selflaunch system at the boost and boost2 from flysurfer!

Maybe, but the stake/car is way better for landing again, if windy - here this selflaunch system is to no help, and nobody want to pull/push the release when going in for a short break, especially not on a rocky ground like this thread is somewhat all about

As said before, dont be smartasses in here just because you know this, many do not know and it can help a lot :D
