F-one 9 - 12m . Inflate valve ball lost.

Postby limelicious » Tue Sep 26, 2017 4:02 am

My F-one 9 - 12m Inflate valve ball that prevents air from rushing out after pumping and before plugging it got lost. And it isn't in the bladder.

I can still ride my kite, but have to be very quick about closing the valve since the ball is missing.

Where can I get a replacement, and how do I replace it?

Thanks!

Used their valves before, they work well.

That you for solving the mystery of the little white ball found in the wingtip of the bladder of an old F-One kite I was fixing

Up to now I had no idea why or how that white plastic ball got there.

And it (the ball) isn't in the bladder.

Only way out for the ball is the deflate valve. And that is pretty rare to come out that way. I have never had a ball come out the inflate valve, only go in.

That said, I usually just chuck the ball once it gets blown inside the bladder. Add 1 extra pump when you pump it up, and you can usually get the stopper plug sealed before more than 1 pump leaks out.
