After doing spins or kiteloops I spin my bar to get the line twists out and it is crucial for me to be able to see which is the left side. Grabbing my bar backwards is catastrophic. I presume that anyone who says they sometimes rig their backwards must never do rotations.
The new Naish bar is well colored (unlike their old yellow one). It works fine with my Ozone Edges. It is available with the depower cleat either above or below the bar, but the below the bar version is more popular (and I prefer it personally).

Sucks there is no standard, but there's always red tape.

There is no problem figuring out what direction to spin after loop/roll, you do not need a coloured bar end to know that.
I try to rig the kite right way tho ...

What tape is recommended ? Bike handlebar tape? My NEW Ozone bar grip tape has started to come away after a week in hot temps

We actually quite like the new bar, the new grip is very cool too.
It's pretty simple to determine left from right!

I prefer to either have a the non-black color on the left, or a high-contrast color on the back. There's only be a handful of times I've been ass over teakettle and lost the bar, but the split second I've had to glance at it I've been glad for the high-contrast to know which way I'm grabbing it.
The recent trend for black on the left then red leader and lines, and orange/yellow/blue on the right sets off my OCD
